# **Privacy notice**

This site is operated by Ahmet Ömer. For privacy questions or requests, contact [hi@ahmeto.com](mailto:hi@ahmeto.com).

## **Optional analytics**

If you select “Allow analytics”, this site loads Umami from analytics.ahmeto.com to measure page visits and understand which content visitors read. Until you accept, the site does not load the Umami script or send analytics events. The legal basis for this optional processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25(1) TDDDG).

Umami receives page addresses and titles, referrer information, browser and operating system information, language, and screen dimensions. Your IP address is received by the analytics server as part of the connection and can be used to derive approximate location and distinguish visits. The tracker does not use analytics cookies. This site excludes query strings and fragments from tracked page addresses and does not configure custom events, user IDs, or session recordings.

## **Hosting and retention**

The Umami instance is hosted on my Hetzner server in Germany. Analytics data is retained indefinitely unless manually deleted. Withdrawing consent stops future collection but does not automatically delete existing data. Contact me at the address above with deletion requests.

## **Your choice**

Accepting is optional; declining does not affect access to the site. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under “analytics-consent” until you change it or clear the site's browser data. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies only to the current page session. The site also remembers your colour preference using a cookie.

You can withdraw consent using “Analytics preferences” in the footer or the button below, then selecting “Decline”. Withdrawal stops future analytics collection and normally reloads the page; if your browser cannot save the choice, tracking is blocked for the current page instead. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or automatically erase previously collected statistics.

## **Your rights**

Where personal data is processed, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability where applicable, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Contact the email address above with questions or requests.
